What do you have to do to get into the contest?

1. Submit your pregnant costume photos and tell us a story here. Once submitted, you give us the rights to publish on our site (Advice-for-Pregnant-Moms.com), use, adapt, edit, and/or modify such entry in any way, without limitation, and without consideration or acknowledgment to the entrant and the unconditional right to use the photo and statements about the promotion for advertising/publicity purposes without additional compensation, except where prohibited by law.

   Our website Advice-for-Pregnant-Moms.com is compliant with the data protection act. Our privacy policy is such that we will not pass on your details to any third party.

   Do not forget to include your email so we can send you a confirmation of your photo in Facebook, and more important, to contact you if you win the contest.

   These are some aspects that you may consider in your story?

   • Why did you decide to make that costume?
   • How did your baby motivated you to make that costume?
   • What sort of materials did you use? Instruction on how you made it.
   • How great was the party, did you win?, tell us your party story.

2. We will download your picture in our Facebook Page for voting. Once we download it, we will contact you via email so your votes can start. Ask your family and friends to LIKE and keep an eye on Facebook. We will post all the entries on there for voting. A link from Facebook will be created to our Pregnant Costumes Contest website in order to give your fans a chance to see your story were they can comment and rate which costumes for pregnant women they like.

Contest Rules

1. Your pregnant costume must be handmade and original. Purchased costumes are not accepted. Do not copy photos or stories from other sources.
2. Only submissions with both Photo(s) and Story will be eligible to win.
3. The contest is open worldwide.
4. When you tell your story, keep it real! The more details you include in your story, the more chances to win you have.
5. Very Important! Enter your email address in your contest submission form, so I may contact you if you are a winner.
6. Upload up to 4 pictures. We can select the better picture for voting. A good quality picture is important, so edit, resize and crop as you want in order to have a better picture. It's best to resize your photo to 400 pixels width. You can send a series of photos showing how you made the costume. You can use your own photo editor or try this easy Resizing Tool.
7. The longer your story, the better for winning the contest. Try to write no less than 150 words, shine your story, there is no word limit. I may change title and text slightly in order to make it easier for search engines; this will help to find easily your entry.
8. The pregnancy costumes contest will last for two months, starting the 15th of February, 2012 till 14th of June, 2012 (11:59 p.m. central standard time). The winner will be notified the 20th of June via email and attached the $50 Amazon Gift Certificate.

How do we select the winner in our Pregnant Costumes Contest?

1. 50% will consider the Pregnant Costume photo with the most votes in our Facebook Page
2. And the other 50%, all entries will be judged personally by me and my lovely sister Malena. The criteria to be used will be CREATIVITY and ORIGINALITY of the costume, and the quality of the story. My sister is a little bit quirky, so crazy halloween costumes are excellent.

Do not forget to add your email address. After pressing the “Submit” button below, you will have to set the notification option “My contribution has been accepted”. Your email is required in order to:

1. Send you a confirmation email when your pregnant costume has been approved.
2. Notify you if your pregnant costume is the winner (If you don't provide your email address your costume will still be added to the site, but won't be included in the contest because we won't have any way of contacting you)
